This did not taste like real Hungarian goulash to me. It was not spicy enough. I will try to find a different recipe next time

Really delicious, but at first it was too thin based on my Romanian husband who has spent a lot of time in Hungary. Could be my fault because i added a little extra liquid because we had more meat than the recipe called for. Regardless, was an easy adjustment : we just added additional flour at the end and it thickened up perfectly. i think next time we'll use a different spice blend though because the caraway was a bit strong.

Excellent!! To the leftovers, I am adding Marsala wine, diced carrots, and Gouda cheese to put on top of penne pasta. My house smells really good right now 😬

Really good! It has the flavors I’ve been missing in other beef stew recipes. It’s my ‘go to’ from now on.

Really really delicious and easy. Just make sure you have enough time to let it simmer long enough to make everything tender—about 2 1/2-3 hours is probably good (I like good sized chunks on carrots and potatoes). Will definitely make it again.

turned out very bland. although the meat was very tender, the veggies were not. will look for a different recipe next time

Turned out pretty good, but it’s not quite what I remember having at a restaurant a while back. Not sure what it is. Maybe it could have used more butter? Regardless, it’s a solid beef stew recipe.

Excellent! A bit different from making Mediterranean dishes and a distinctive flavour. Lovely in winter.

Didn’t like it at all. So many time spend but after almost 2 hours of cooking it is not even close to classic Hungarian goulash. Just vegetables and beef in the same pot. Definitely will not do it again

This was delish. I will definitely be making it again. I prepped everything on the stove and finished it in the crockpot.

It turned out delicious! I didn't have caraway seeds, so I substituted it with cumin seeds.

Excellant! Only changes I made was adding corn and real tomatoes not canned. Will make again.

This Goulash is great. I used meat from a bone in chuck roast and used 2 heaped tablespoons of paprika. We like spicy food.

Great recipe, quite a lot of paprika for the kids. Needed to be thickened by corn flour.

very tasty dish! i had to add way more paprika probably because mine was not very strong. also added 2 tbs of sugar. Next time will make it worth tomato paste.

Was easy to make, just a long time to simmer. Added a few more veggies and spices. Make sure to stir as I accidentally burnt the bottom slightly. Would definitely make again
